As an administrator, it is important to clearly define your agency’s position on best practices for infection prevention. What are the components of a good prevention and surveillance program? What does it mean in today’s world environment? With ebola, enterovirus, and infection control breaches becoming major news headlines, home care and hospice providers play an essential role in protecting the health of employees and patients. About the Presenter:
Kay Hollers, BSN, MPH,
is well known to TAHCH audiences as she has been active in the teaching, practice, administration and consultation regarding home health and hospice for nearly forty years. Kay holds both a Bachelors in Nursing and a Masters in Public Health from the University of Texas and a Specialty Certification in health care evaluation from Wayne State University in Detroit. She owned a private pay agency in Austin and is currently the owner of KHollers Consulting in Austin and the Vice President of Home Health Operations for APC Home Health in Harlingen. She is also a consultant with Healthcare ConsultLink.
