KEY ENHANCEMENT TIMELINE

  • 2012 - HCIN on-demand programs stream using MP4 (h.264) industry standard. All modern browsers are supported. Mobile devices - in addition to the traditional desktop and laptop - can now be used to access and view online training content.
  • 2014 - HCIN launches interactive quizzing capability embedded within programs.
  • 2017 - HCIN launches support of MPEG-DASH streaming for the delivery of its on-demand content, allowing for multiple bitrate, or smooth streaming, without the use of browser plugins. All modern browsers supporting MP4 (h.264) and MPEG-DASH can be used, ensuring all viewers have a reliable and smooth playback experience.
