Program Description: Examining the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) proposed approach to rebase home health payment rates over a four-year phase-in period can prepare home care for the impact. Required by Affordable Care Act, the change translates into new efficient processes for home care.

This program looks into methods used by agencies to analyze operations to find more efficiencies necessary to withstand dramatic change and still continue to be a viable home care provider. Also presented is the use of forecasting, budgets and benchmarking as means to monitor and evaluate the agency’s operations and identify for areas of improvement. Presentation Date: 11.20.2013
